Her book is yours. This page says what we keep, what we never do, and how leaving works. Short version: no ads, nothing sold, no trackers, deletion is real.
What we keep
- Her book — the facts, dates and notes you and she record: the moorings, the costs, the papers’ dates, the maintenance.
- What you add to entries — a photo of the mooring or the extinguisher tag, the place, the time. Location is read from your device only when you add a mooring or ask for it, and only for that entry.
- The documents you give her — kept in her memory so she can answer from them. They are not used to train anything and not shown to anyone else.
- The minimum account — an email if you register, and the payment reference if you take a paid tier. Payments run through Stripe; we never see your card number.
What we never do
- No adverts — in the app, on this site, anywhere.
- Nothing is sold or shared — your data is not our product; the memberships are.
- No trackers — this site carries no analytics, no pixels, no cookies beyond the app’s own login. Your browser is not following you here.
- No reading over your shoulder — her conversation is processed to answer you and to keep her book, by the language model serving your tier, and for nothing else.
Who can see her
You, and the crew you invite. Nothing else. Grace, the public demo boat, is a special case by design: she holds invented data and exists to be asked questions by strangers.
Where it lives
Her book is rows in a managed database on a small number of servers run for this service — not shared hosting, not a data broker’s cloud. It is backed up so a lost disk is not a lost book.
How leaving works
Deletion is real. Delete-now in the app ends the account and her memory — book, photos, documents, everything — and it is not quietly kept behind your back afterwards. On the free anonymous path there is nothing to delete but what your browser holds; clear it and she is gone. Export on the paid tiers (CSV, her story as PDF) means leaving does not mean losing.
Questions
Write to [email protected] — a person reads it. UK data-protection law applies, and you have the rights it gives you: a copy of what is held, a correction, a deletion.
