InfloyceShe remembers. You just cruise.

Terms, in plain English

Last updated October 2026 · The honest version, written to be read

Infloyce keeps the memory of your boat: her cruising log, her costs, her papers, her story. These terms cover the free tier and the paid memberships. Using the service means agreeing to them — there is nothing in here written to catch anybody.

The service

Free for good: the cruising log, the fourteen-day count and its reminders, the BSS and winter checklists, her identity and ten documents in memory, five conversations a week. No card to start, and not a trial.

Paid memberships — Log and Full, described on the pricing page — deepen her memory and her conversation. Reading her book, the counts and the checklists are plain code and unlimited on every tier.

Money

Honest limits

Her conversation is quoted — five replies a week on Free, thirty a month on Log, comfortably more on Full — because replies cost real money to make. Everything else about her memory is not quoted. When a limit is near, she says so; when it is reached, reading her book still works.

The machine, honestly

Her conversation runs on language models; her counting and her bookkeeping run on plain code. Models can be wrong — the book, not the chat, is the record. The service is a keeper’s memory, not a surveyor, not an engineer, and not legal advice: for the rules themselves (BSS, licensing, movement), the official pages — boatsafetyscheme.com, canalrivertrust.org.uk — are the authority.

Your data

Her book is yours. Export exists on the paid tiers (CSV, her story as PDF); deletion is real on every tier — see privacy, in plain English. If the service ever closes for good, the books go to their keepers first: her memory outlives the brand.

Changes

The service changes as boats’ needs do; the terms change only with a month’s notice, and never retroactively — a year you paid for is the year you get.

The law

English law applies (placeholder — jurisdiction/entity per owner decision, see the repository README). Disputes first by letter: [email protected].
